Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the RevoluteHR platform and services. By using RevoluteHR, you agree to comply with this policy. This AUP is incorporated into and supplements our Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use RevoluteHR to:

Illegal or Harmful Use

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or government order
  • Facilitate discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic
  • Store or process data in violation of employment laws or data protection regulations
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or misrepresent information

Security Violations

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any accounts, systems, or networks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
  • Conduct security scans or penetration testing without prior written authorization
  • Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security features

Data Misuse

  • Collect, harvest, or scrape data from the platform beyond your authorized access
  • Share login credentials with unauthorized individuals
  • Store sensitive personal data (e.g., Social Security numbers, medical records) outside of designated secure fields
  • Use employee data for purposes unrelated to legitimate HR operations
  • Export data in bulk for use in competing services

Platform Abuse

  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without written permission
  • Intentionally overload the platform infrastructure

3. Account Responsibilities

As an account holder, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • Ensuring all users under your account comply with this AUP
  • Promptly reporting any security incidents or suspected unauthorized access
  • Keeping your account information accurate and up to date
  • Using strong, unique passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication

4. Content Standards

All content uploaded to or created within RevoluteHR must:

  • Be accurate and not misleading
  • Comply with applicable employment and labor laws
  • Not contain defamatory, threatening, or harassing material
  • Not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
  • Be relevant to legitimate HR and business operations

5. Enforcement

RevoluteHR reserves the right to investigate violations of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may take action including:

  • Issuing a warning and requesting corrective action
  • Temporarily suspending access to the Service
  • Permanently terminating the account
  • Reporting violations to appropriate law enforcement authorities
  • Pursuing legal remedies for damages caused by the violation

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
